SPICE TOUR 3 HOURS

spicesIts fundamental goal is to thoroughly explain why this lovely island is called as “The Spice Island” to you.

Our tour begins with a drive through a beautiful green countryside where we see, smell, and taste a variety of spices as well as mouth-watering seasonal fruits from the tropics like jack fruit, pineapple, banana, green coconut juice, dourian, love apple, litche, and soursop.

Spices such as cloves, cardamon, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, vanilla, and nutmeg – are as exotic as the flavour.

A comprehensive tour includes much more than just spices, and you’ll get to see things like the lipstick tree, Heena bush, ylang-ylang, and cocoa and coffee trees.

The tour also includes a stop at:

  • Maruhubi Palace Ruins, which the third Sultan of Zanzibar Seyyid Barghash built for his concubines, as well as the
  • Kidichi Persian Baths, constructed in 1850 by Seyyid Said bin Sultan for his Persian wife Princess Sheherezade, a granddaughter of the Shah of Persia.
